Gucci have just created a dining room to die for in their multi-floor Palazzo in Florence, and guess what? It’s green.
A colour often associated with renewal, nature and energy – it makes the ideal living companion. How do you work green into your home? Here are a few tricks for getting the ultimate outdoors colour in this spring, follow them, and you'll be living in botanical bliss before you know it.
Inject splashes of green colour by cherry picking some key pieces of furniture and accessories in your favourite green tone. Selecting a green chair, or some green cushions or tea towels, is a great way of introducing a strong colour such as this into the room. If you're feeling adventurous consider painting one feature wall green, or you could decorate a wall with our easy-to-apply Paste The Wall Wallpaper in a botanical design.

Are you faux real?
The great debate. Real foliage or fake? Well, ideally it’s a mix of both. Practically speaking this saves time watering and only the most green fingered of guests will be able to spot the faux from the real. Mix an assortment of indoor succulents and plants for the lush look and create interest by varying the height of your plant pots and containers. This Cement Style Tall Planter is a real hero piece for the floor, whilst clear glass vases and terrariums provide a slightly more elegant form of display for focal areas such as the coffee table.

Natural wood and industrial style metal furniture work best when styling your home with this lively tone. Untreated pale wood furniture, such as this Bronx Small Sideboard, keep the mood light and bring a real sense of nature to the space. Stylish white metal and rattan pieces also look great mixed in to this look.
