Beautiful light oak colour, not too warm or yellowy. Perfectly compact for my smallish living room, looks very nice without taking up too much space or drawing the eye to it distractingly. I have a 32 inch TV on it on an angle and there's lots of room left for a candle plate and a plant, you could easily get a much larger TV on it. The shelves on the right hand side perfectly fit my Samsung T400 soundbar allowing me to save space on top of the unit, and the cupboard on the left hand side is really roomy. I also like the hole at the back allowing me to easily hide cables, but it's only small so it's not a big noticeable hole like you get in some tv cabinets. I'm not hugely handy but I managed to get it built myself in about 20 minutes to half an hour - quicker than my IKEA bedside table. Once built it feels really sturdy and high quality, the cupboard door has a satisfying ‘close' to it, and the bevelled edges on the surface make it look more expensive than it was. I also like the greyish brown tone of the metal which is very neutral and goes with lots of decor styles; black would have been jarring in my living room. All round would really recommend this if you're looking for a high quality, compact wooden TV table for a small room.

Have not used it as a TV stand but as a low cupboard for a lamp and ornament.
