Arrived with marks, its not painted but covered in a black paper I think, which was pealing off at the corners. again I would have returned if I had intended to keep the desk long term.

Exactly as advertised - really neat and solid looking desk. Relatively easy to assemble and does what I need it to as a work desk for a small area of my home. For the price, it is good quality and looks nice.
