This helps promote the perfect posture for your child as they grow. With an open cell structure, the firm fibre works with the pocket springs by moulding to the contours of the body. This provides support and allows for increased airflow. This cot bed mattress comes with a removable Purotex®? Moisture Management cover. Fabrics that have been treated with Purotex®? contain microcapsules that are filled with natural probiotics. These provide a natural remedy against common allergens. Thanks to friction, when your baby lays on the mattress, the microcapsules burst open and absorb humidity to reduce moisture. These probiotics start to multiply and clean up the allergens. Additionally this mattress for cot beds also comes with a Barrier+ cover which is specially designed to remove dead skin cells and bodily fluids which act as a food source for fungi, dust mites and pathogens, remove fungal spores and limit the propagation of Staphylococcus Aureus and Escherichia Coli, two pathogens cited as a possible cause of cot death.
