PROS: It is sturdy and swooshable. CONS: This set is not a good value in any way. The previous version of this set was $50...This one is $80 and actually gives you less for the price. It is also ~80 parts LESS than the AT-ST Raider which sells for $50. It also weighs less than that set indicating that in EVERY WAY this set is giving you less Lego for a 60% price hike in less than a year. There is no other way to say it except this is price gouging Lego. Bad set, bad value. Originally posted on Lego.co.uk

Great design, love how far LEGO has come with this ship. $80 is criminal though, hopefully it doesn't sell well and it will be on sale soon enough. Save your money for something better with a better piece per part ratio. Originally posted on Lego.co.uk

Building this set was a lot of fun and the end result is in my opinion one of the best designs for lego star wars, it is a very sturdy and good looking build. I'm sure a lot of people can agree when I say that this set is absolutely not worth eighty dollars, luckily I was able to get it with a discount but full price will definitely drive many fans and parents away from this set. I believe this price could have been justified with more mini figures and maybe even a little side build but you're just not getting enough for this price. Putting the price aside this is one of my favorite star wars sets from the year, I especially like the new clone with very detailed printing and grievous is still looking good, I do wish the Obi Wan was more accurate to the scene but it doesn't ruin the entire set for me. Overall this set is not worth the full price but I would definitely recommend buying this on a sale for fifty dollars or something like that. Originally posted on Lego.co.uk

The build for General Grievous's Starfighter is pristine. It is structurally solid, has good play features and storage for unused weapons, and it looks phenomenal. I think it is actually one of the best builds in this size of any recent set. BUT this does not even come close to justifying the price. To make matters worse, the minifigures are sub-par for a set this size. It is great to get Grievous, as we do not get him often. The Obi-Wan figure, however, although it is a great figure and was great in the Duel on Mustafar set, is completely inaccurate, and is cheap and lazy on the part of LEGO. All that needed to be changed was to erase the dirt stains on his torso, and maybe give him a more of a "Hello there" and less of a "You were my brother, Anakin" expression. Is that really too much to ask? And while I actually really like the 212th Airborne Trooper in this set, for $80 we couldn't have a Phase 2 Commander Cody, as well, or even a Magna Guard or a simple battle droid? Overall, I think that this set is a very sad waste of a great build. At a $50 or even $60 price point and some slight editing to the minifigures, this set could have been great. I can only hope something like this does not happen in the future. Originally posted on Lego.co.uk
