Our membership helps fund farmer training across the world. To become a Better Cotton farmer and earn a Better Cotton licence a farmer must demonstrate they adhere to seven principles:

Better Cotton is sourced through a system called Mass Balance

Better Cotton is sourced from licensed BCI Farmers

Using the mass balance approach allows more farmers to benefit from the support Better Cotton can offer to help improve cotton farming globally.
