A MAC Artist used the original spray on me years ago and it was so refreshing. When I found out this hydrating spray was available with 16 hour makeup wear time, I was in! Once applied, after a full face of makeup, I felt refreshed by this dewey misting spray and hours and hours and hours later my makeup looked great!! This product does set very well, but the spray pump is absolutely useless. I'd give this a 2.5 stars due to the cheap faulty spray pump. What good is the product if the container or dispenser used to help set your make up is faulty? After using it a few times, the product gushes out from the rim, it doesn't spritz onto your skin like Mac's other settings sprays. This spray pump releases big streams of uneven product on your face and it messes up not only my face but my vanity area. I've used all of Mac setting sprays and never ever had this problem. Sad part is Mac knows from other reviews there is a persistent issue with the bottle yet they won't do anything but respond to reviews with a generic cookie cutter useless response. I love everything about this spray expect it oxidizes. It really does make your makeup last, but I have to be careful with it because when using liquid or cream foundations and eye shadows its make my makeup look muddy. Be careful not to spray too much. Originally posted on www.maccosmetics.co.uk
