Checked trousers are big news. Huge news, in fact. Sure, they’ve been spotted on the legs of incredibly stylish men on the street for years now, but only recently have they become a tried and true trend worn all around the world.

A lot of men, however, have yet to dip their toes into the seemingly confusing world of checked trousers, no matter how confident they are. Pairing it with bold, autumnal colours is a wonderful way of bringing the whole look together, and this deep, dark plum tone looks great on everyone.

Thicker, wider checks

If you’re ready to make more of a statement, go for something wider and bolder like these thick checks. More reminiscent of a classic check, this style is perfect for men looking to up the ante in the workplace. For smarter occasions, pair with classics such as a crisp white shirt and thick wool overcoat and for weekends, go for a white trainer and a neutral T-shirt.

Dark, delicate checks
